We helped develop an innovative solution that connects over 20 major airlines. This API-driven platform automates complex airline tasks, such as rebookings, refunds and updating passenger data, improving efficiency and response times to customer requests. The service can be used in two ways: businesses can integrate it into their own system as an integration giving unified API for communicating with over 20 airlines or customers can book directly through the BookingPad application.
In the airline industry, managing complex tasks such as rebooking flights, processing refunds and updating passenger data can be a real challenge. Traditional methods often require a lot of manual work, leading to slow response times and inefficiencies. Our goal was to automate these processes, integrate them with multiple airlines and ensure speed and accuracy in services for both operational teams and customers.
We developed an advanced API system that automatically handles tasks like rebooking flights and processing refunds. The system is integrated with over 20 global airlines, providing real-time flight offers. Automation reduces the need for manual intervention, improving efficiency and speed. Additionally, we created a custom frontend that allows easy visual access to data, making the platform more flexible for different user needs.
The API solution has been successfully implemented, with airlines and partners reporting a significant reduction in manual work and faster response times for customers. Automation has led to more efficient operations, allowing teams to focus on higher-value tasks, while customers benefit from quicker and more accurate service. The custom frontend has also been well-received due to its simplicity and user-friendliness.
The development of the API solution began with a thorough understanding of the unique needs of the airline industry. We built the core API to connect with airlines and automate tasks such as rebooking and refunds. Specialized backend services were created to handle various functions like tracking, collecting metrics, managing queues and ensuring system security.
